I've always been a fan of gymnastics. I loved watching this group of girls over the summer.
So I was thrilled to learn that Shawn Johnson (2008 Olympic Gold Medalist) was writing a YA book. Once it came in, I grabbed it before it hit the shelves and took it home.
Last night I was going to read a few minutes before bed. 100 pages later, I realized I need to put the book down and get some sleep.
It's about a girl who is just about to break out in the Gymnastic World, but she's trying to keep her sports life separate from her school life. She goes to public school. She meets a boy through her best friend from school. Then they're paired together in student council.
Charlie needs to focus if she wants to make the Olympic team. She can't afford distractions right now. But Charlotte can't stopping thinking about Bobby.
Will her two worlds collide? And if so, what will happen?
